Portland Haiku

pink cherry blossoms
bloom suddenly in the rain.
spring time happiness.

here i am sitting.
i thought i would write haiku.
so that’s what i did.

the clouds are moving
ponderously in their thoughts.
blanketing the sky.

i am full of hate.
for the one i ought to love.
it hurts. it tears me.

it is wet outside.
cold, dark and cloudy resounds.
an icy drip. drip.

i need to pause more,
some time to think and reflect.
days just come and go.

life trundles forward
on a many branching path.
got to keep going.

i hear rain falling,
outside my door, whispering.
it scampers away.

slowly entangled,
in a web of things and stuff.
i tie a slipknot.

stupid internet.
i’m tired of your lame shit.
please, get the fuck out.
