Portland Haiku

a wandering life
searching for a hidden joy.
to find is to seek.

faded and listless
i float about in the haze
of a delusion.

looking back to see,
what happened, how i got here.
just one big circle.

doing internet.
hiding from the heat today.
trashing some emails.

i struggle with life.
everyday… i just don’t know.
i am trying hard.

and now spring has come.
all bright, green, and come alive.
my rebirth, at last.

i’m getting tired
of the grind, day in day out.
let’s liven things up.

fuzziness surrounds.
a warm green blanket hugged,
in comfort and love.

i just wish that i,
had more time to stop and think.
things just keep going.

glad to see the sun,
staying up a bit longer.
day light savings time.
