Portland Haiku

life rolling piling
shuffled around here and there
tumbling always

there is more to life,
more than this circle will tell.
more than you can know.

life is a challenge.
blatantly true, obvious.
see it for itself.

the squeaks and cooing
of a new life awaken
all in our small house.

time slips by, days pass.
because we keep on living
for each bright moment.

a new family,
with the addition of one.
a new life begins.

mind hazy, but quick.
my thoughts, hard to keep up with.
life is enlightened.

sitting back to watch
life swirl and spin around me.
perhaps i’ll catch up.

life fragmentation.
in a state of entropy.
scattered here and there.

a deep sigh, a thought.
one breath, one glance, a quick blink.
and all has changed.
