portland winter day -
almost balmy, today seemed.
glad to be outside.

a wet and warm day.
finally feels like winter,
here in my portland.

autumn has arrived,
a beautiful day to close,
our portland summer.

pleasant summer days
are here, reminding me how
lovely portland is.

a summer night falls,
cool and humid on portland.
i dream of lightning.

traveling again,
heading home, back to portland.
gonna be home soon.

moist cold soaking in
through the air, drizzling down.
short days and long nights.

a sheet of rain spreads
across the bed of portland,
drenching and soaking.

deep frozen ice
layers sit on the streets.
portland is a cold, bitter white.

a cold wet bike ride,
pushing through the wind and rain.
a portland winter.
